I can give u my share of Indus Toyota Corolla's.
I used GL 1994 for 2 years, It was well furnished and had better quality compared to newer models (98 onwards)
Engine was not that powerfull to move you around decently with AC and CNG.
Then i used a 98 GL with same engine. ONly difference was disappearance of some good materials from interior, everything else was same, and it felt cheap too, door noises, braking, everything was low quality.
Now i am using a 2004 Corolla, and it is the worst of these all. No Grip, No reliable braking. Rear seat has actualy lesser room then old one, and list goes on.
I must tell u that all these cars are official Green number plate cars. All were in good condition and fortunately drivers were caring enough to make them last for more then 300000 Kms and they are still running
I am doubtfull about the 2004. I dont think it can last that long.
My brother in law has a 2001 Model 2.0D
I took it out of the showroom and used it for 2 months, its interior was a big disappointment, even worse then previous models, everything else was also lower on quality.
I dont think 2E is a better engine compared to Nissan E13 or E15 and if u can get your hand at 1.4 EFI, Its even better.
