Do rats love benz?

My friends car was parked for 2 weeks in garage under cover. when the cover was removed the seats and the side panels were damaged/chewed by some rat.
car is C180 elegance 99 model....was untouched

Anyone, anway to fix this in rwp/isb ?

It happend to a customer car here, reason was her kids droped lot of food on a back seat, and car was full of french fries, donuts crumbs etc.

Its better to lock car. And incase there is a rat in the car then it should be thrown outta car before parking. I had a similiar experience a week back when I found a dead rat in my cargo bed of Double Cabin.

my friend has 3 cars but somehow the rat chose to eat the seats and side boards of the benz only heheheh

Storm,
the local solutions we got were upholstery redone on the fabric area. the cardboard area, they suggest using "potein" as the painters call it for filling, and then paint :S

Charter, these rats arnt already in the car before its closed, they enter the car some how after the car is all zipped up (happened to my tayas car too)... only way to protect car i guess is to leave moth balls (i hope i spelled it right) if leaving car in an area where rats are at large :P...

what you described is the best way to absolutely kill the resale of a mercedes in ANy market (though it is very common in PK and people don't tend to notice).

I'd suggest that he either learn to live with it till he can find a replacement from somewhere or just cover it with some vinyl (stick on) for the time being. whatever he does he shoud NOT go for the local method.

Had to get the car fixed before his dad returned to pakistan.
else my friend could be dead along with the rat.
i dont think anyone will point it out unless told ....

the job looks good so far, but wait till the door is closed a few times in winter and also guess what will happen if someone leans on that armrest?

It's only a temp fix,.. but still a good job.

Shoudl give you a good idea of what i haev to look out for when i go out helping friend find mercs.....
