I did a lot of such swaps as the stupid idiot GDI engines are a pain to own in Pakistan, The best option is to get a Right side mount 4G63 SOHC engine with Galant wiring harness.
You can also choose to have a 6A12 or 6A13 V6 engines - they bolt up perfectly in there, make sure to get complete wiring harness for Galant too - the HVAC touch screen, air bag, auto trans etc is wired through it. The bigger engines have more HD gearboxes (if automatic). About 8 or 10 years ago these engine swaps would be Rs 200,000 or Rs 250,000/- turn key solution with everything working like it should and everything in place like factory original parts.
