Hi All
Here's the Zone 1 (Lahore) gas holiday schedule for CNG stations; for December 2009, January 2010 and February 2010.
Please confirm with your local CNG stations; I will not be held responsible for factual errors.
If other PW'ers have schedules for other cities, please post them for the convenience of the rest of us.
Please note that the month is noted first and the day date second in the following schedule, that's just the format I received the schedule in.
FYI, I consult for the CNG industry. If you have any industry related questions please ask me, I may be able to answer them. For example, we have recently been informed that the Qadirpur gas field may be going offline in the next 3 months, creating a 20% shortage in the national gas supply. How did this happen, and what can we do about it?

Please help the rest of us by honoring the gas holiday schedule and not asking for the stations to stretch or violate this schedule. The local DCO's will be sending out teams to enforce this schedule. To you it may be a matter of just getting a little bit of gas but the station owners risk being arrested and having their stations sealed and closed by the DCOs' enforcement teams. We are all in this together. BTW the CNG owners' association had suggested this voluntary 2 day shutdown for the past 3 years running, to relieve load on the grid so that we may have adequate gas supplies for household needs (cooking and heating).
Regards,
v
