Red face Swapping from GA15DE (manual) to QG18DE (automatic) in B14 (2000 model). Need help

    Assalam u Aliakum Guys.

I am from Quetta and long story short, i have Nissan B14 2000 model having GA15DE. My car engine area completely burnt up due to short circuit. I have completely restored the engine bay area and replaced every part. Since my engine was also burnt up, hence i bought QG18DE for 70k in Automatic transmission from here. Now the electrician is having headache while doing the wiring of this engine but he is optimistic that he can start this thing up.

He told me that he needs the internal wiring (not the engine wiring) as well which complements QG18DE. Now i've seen people here who have swapped QG18DE in their B14s ..... Need help from you guys for which parts and wiring is required ..... Also do tell if i should keep moving on with QG18DE project or should again replace it with GA 15DE

    Pic of QG18DE Engine:

First of all this seems to me a four row ecu QG18de one of the sensitive QG18de but one of the most economical QG18de out there. If you have determination of putting QG18de, yes u can. You can take help from anyone such as @star2, @sergtr
    And you can whatsap me

I have all appropriate information to start this engine. Don't worry this one's a one beautiful machine. Very responsive.

And no need of internal wiring to start this thing up.

I dont think it is 4 row ECU, the engine seems manual throttle wala. By the way its awesome machine and yaar what I am seeing the engine is with complete of its wiring, fuse box and even battery terminal????

You got an awesome piece brother... Once it is installed you will love it.

Like me that I put this in my 1986 model and now want to sale and get 1993 but jab bhi drive karta hon dil nai karta ruknay ko.

I will say atleast hes a genuine person because 90% of QG18 here come with Auto and then mated to GA manual gear and sold as manual QG18. Mounting an engine is not a big deal but sorting out its electrics is the main thing, you need a sensible electrician. Here most of sellers cannot even wire up GA properly and QG is way advanced in electrics from GA.

    @OP

If things burnt up due to short circuit, means engine bay and main wiring harness also burnt out? Have you replaced them?

Without proper circuit diagram and ECU pin outs, the best thing your electrician would do is burn/damage some sensors and/or ECU. So your best bet would be to find someone already familiar with QG's wiring. If you can't find anyone in your city, you'll have to sort it out with Pakwheels member's help. People are here to help, but it will be very time consuming for you and need lot of time and effort on your part.

70K price for engine only is on much higher side (compared to Rawalpindi).

Qamar bhai four row ecu is also with wire driven throttle. Blacktop QG18de ki do basic types hain. One with three row ecu that i have it, and other one is four row ecu with two O2 sensors and ek aur variant ata hai in four row ecu that has four O2 sensors.
So basically is walay engine mein jiski pics are uploaded here. It has air temp sensor, exhaust temperature sensor, two O2 sensor and much more 100+ pins hain iski. Kafi tricky hai to wire it up. And auto ki wires ka koi electrician guess nai karsakta iski. Aik wire ghalat laga di sensor urh jayega and na lagai toh gear shift hi nai karega properly. But ek dafa yeh wire hojaye iski ride buhat Smooth hai.
I have one running setup in rawalpindi too. And it requires some time but great machine.

Hmmm. Rates may have gone up for QG18 now. When I swapped, both QG15 and QG18 were for 43K with exchange (Inclusive of gearbox, mechanic and electrician charges, plus fuel pump). What are QG15 prices these days?

I'm talking about these same rates bro in this package of 43k with auto u have to pay 6k additional Lever kay.
It makes it 49k and swap kay they charge 7k so 56k mein u can have a running auto QG18de purana dekar. But u are very sensible to understand woh kis kisam ka swap hogachal so chal wala. Banda swap kay waqt 10-20k aur laga dey takay kal ko gari tang na karay kaheen.

So basically 70k he is quoting
Of no exchange. Purana engine deay bagher he is saying 70k so theek hai prices same hi hain.

So @IsbCap rates are still the same.

May be if get a clean one with complete accessories. Already found one but its without ECU but rest of all stuff is with it and even with gearbox.
First gear shift at 70km and 2nd 130km.

But i think that I will keep it also on QG18 and will enjoy its sheeer power which I cant on B12.
