Bhai its a very simple procedure but initially it requires time and hard work in order to gather a lot of material and make the website productive for your target market but in the end it pays off quite well. A website shows positive results only if you give it your time by working hard and you have the interest in whatever the subject of the website is.
Go to a web developer and ask him to make you a simple easy to handle but attractive quality looking website, lets say, a job related site like mustakbil.com, since job seekers are increasing day by day. As the site starts functioning, start posting active job/internship positions from lots of available classifieds, other online job sites, put job related articles like interview tips etc and there is lots of related stuff available which you can put there. Get to know how to promote a website by reading lots of available online articles, tips and tricks. And then put advertisements on your site, like adsense (Google it to learn about how it works). After a period of good hard work you will start seeing the results.
The Job site is quite a big and practical project but you can start with something else of your own interest; i have quoted it as an example just to make you aware of the procedure a website goes through.
Lets make some calculations;
A good functioning website can easily be made in Rs.15000/-
And then its all about time and hard work,
lets say, after you have successfully done everything,
and it starts earning (from ads) $10 in a day (average),
so $10 x 30 days a month = $300
$300 x Rs.85 = Rs.25500/- earning per month
But I would again say that IT'S ALL ABOUT HARD WORK AND INTEREST, at some point a website can become a business on auto-pilot but the initial days could be very crucial and fun and you will gain a lot of experience as well.
P.S If some day you think that you're unable to handle your website so you can sell it off as well.
