@versatilegenious, luckykamoka: lol thanks...
@Naweed: Thanks a lot naweed...I think you're a little bit mistaken about the 3d...I wonder how you're able to see the 3d affect on normal lcd...that too, without glasses...for watching 3d you need these two things...a 3d tv and 3d glasses. When you switch on the 3d mode on the tv, the picture gets blurred. Then, if the content is in 3d, you just wear the glasses and you will get the 3d effect.
There are three, 3d demo blu ray discs which came with the tv...one is alice in wonderland, one is some aquarium movie and one is sony content.
In market, there is limited 3d content available. Only 3-4 blu ray 3d discs are available costing Rs2500 each. Ice Age, Rio, Green Hornet, Resident Evil are the only 3d blu rays available in the market. Thats why I thought of downloading 3d content myself and viewing it on my tv...so basically I dont need discs...because I already have them and have seen them in real 3d, with the glasses...I need to know how to view downloaded content on the tv.
@mani1: Yes...I have downloaded mkvs from torrents...and they appear in partition in stereoscopic player, like you have mentioned. I also downloaded content from 3dtv.at - 3D Movies and that also appears in partition. But when I connect my laptop to the tv, the tv shows the same partitioned video regardless of 3d on / off.
The 3d blu rays I have do not show this partition...they are just blurred when you switch on 3d mode...and when you wear the glasses. the blurred image become clear and in 3d.
Am I using the right player on the laptop?
