format it from the BIOS ,
in RAID mode ,
do not create a RAID array ,
but the RAID setup formats the hard drive completely from scratch before making an array ,
for this
- turn on the RAID support from your setup .
- launch raid setup at startup
- create a RAID array
- select mirror mode.
and then it would ask to format the drives before creating an array .
do it ...
delete any array created ...
go back to BIOS .
turn raid off...
and then u have a brand new hard drive with ZERO recoverable DATA.
remember this is the JUGAARH way . that i personally use.
default windows format either quick or full lack this functionality . and can be always exploited by more powerful software.
if this sounds complicated , then try looking for some dedicated sofware for this purpose. as proposed above.
( plus atleast 2 HDD's are required to perform this operation , is if 1 is connected , then it would'nt be possible)
