- Korean mobile. Sky Vega Racer 2 (A830L)

Bought a Sky Vega Racer 2 (A830l) a month back. Everything else is good but there's some issue with coverage of the mobile. Whenever I insert some USIM (Sim Card) it shows, ''No Service/Emergency Calls Only''. Got an International software done on it but still it didn't help out. Some suggested to get its baseband rom flashed but as I'm just a beginner and a kid so don't know how to do that. Googled a lot but still couldn't find any solution. Went to Singapore plaza (Saddar, Rawalpindi) and asked number of the shop keepers but they couldn't help me out. Actually, I've already heard that there's some solution so that's why asking all the experts to help me out. I don't think so that there'd be some problem with hardware. Really getting frustrated as I'm not able to make a call, neither able to text someone. Help, please? Anyone?

just in this case use PTCL V wireless sim in it ...... you may have to change your primary no. but i guess v wireless is the only CDMA operator in Pakistan

Pantech Sky 810, 820, 830, 840, 850, all of these models are being sold in Pakistan and they WORK with GSM networks regardless of what gsmarena says about them

Didnt you check if its connecting to the network when you bought it? Was it working at first and then stopped working or didnt work from the start?

Sorry for being offtopic but can anybody guide me about how to identify if a set is original or a korean version. For example if i m buying a Samsung Galaxy S3, then how i woyld know that the set is original S3 or a Korean clone version. Please help. Thanks!

korean s3 is not i9300, its shv-e210 and shv-m440 , so if you are sold korean i9300, its a fake phone for sure

Bro, it worked. It works. Like, Telenor works only but it drops signal after every single minute. And, none of the other network's sim is working.
