How can there be a better 'standard' of living in Pakistan when the annual rate of inflation is higher than the annual rate of growth?....Explain this to me, please!!.
In India the annual growth rate is 8 to 9% per year(8.5% in 2006) and the rate of inflation is currently 5.81%.The per capita is also much higher at an average of USD 3700 (population 1.1 billion) and the ppp GDP last year was 4.3 trillion dollars!!.My source for this info is the CIA factbook.
Indian leadership is also judiciously working towards improving the standards of living of all Indians including the poorest among them and the world is acknowledging their efforts!.When the European Union celebrated it's Golden Jubilee last week the Chief Guest at the celebrations was Indian President Abdul Kalam. He is whom the majority of Europeans wanted to address the European Parliament for the occasion!.Some pics........

The Indian President negotiating 'tax exempt' status for Indian goods and services with member nations of the European Union in bilateral negotiations with member countries....the EU has offered India this privelege.
There's nothing wrong with comparing , all in good faith!.We can learn a lot about each other in the process!.Regards!
