Please comment, is Murree a liveable place on permanent basis. Positive and negative points
I am looking for a piece of land in Murree for construction of house. I would appreciate if anybody could help me in my search.
Murree is good from May-September time, for me it is a good vacation place for 4-5 days, after that i become bored, u should build a house there for summer vacations, but for permanent basis, i think its not suitable, for me atleast as it lacks all those facilities and infrastructure which a big city does.
well u can spend vacations there... as u live in lahore ,.. and if u shift to muree perminantly u will get bored in a month ... as the life is so dull in muree dosent matter its a season or not ...
and to help u in finding the land there ... kindly contact Mr. Fareed 0301-5502583 he lives in bhoorban i m sure he will help u out ... give my reference (Umair from Karachi)..
On permanent basis, you can not live in Murree therefore the decision you are going to take is not practical. The living standards and other luxuries you are having in Lahore can not match with the Murree's living. The place would get extremely boring after some time. you can spend your vacations for a month or so; else you can not acclimatize with the environment for good.
Yes You Can Live.
Regards,
it is a beautiful & hygenic place
Sir ab tu murree load-shedding free hogaya hey.yeh mey nai keh raha.raja pervaiz ashraf ney kaha hey.lol
I purchased a 2 bed flat in Lower Jheka Gali back in 1999 and sold it off in 2006 without any useful utility. Unless u have free time to spend half of the year in Murree, it’s not worth it. Murree is good enough for 4-5 days stay only. Better stay at PC and enjoy. Don’t waste your money on a house.
If youre 65 years old and want to retire,it may be okay. But Islamabad is better.
If you're still young and active, and want to go out every weekend for dinner, play bowling, go fishing, Murree wont work!
Murree isn't good for permanent residence. its okay for a 3-4 days holidays. you are not going to get the facilities you get here. i would suggest to stay in Lahore but if u want to move then Islamabad is better.
Islamabad is certainly better than Lahore (in my vision) but its not the same anymore :s 5 years ago it was awesome. Now its like...so many people, so many cars, so many bomb blasts :s:s:S
yup murree is a intresting place...we av a flat there at kashmir point...its gud in jus summer season while in winters living dere is much more difficult cuz ov snow...!
^^Its not difficult if you have the right equipage.
For your vehicle you need either AWD/4WD and/or snow chains. For yourself you need good clothes and a nice home with gas/electricity.For your home you need proper insulation, working heaters (electric is better).
And youre good!
@humangeniousbolna aasan hai karna mshkil hai:)
Nops its nt for permanent living ,just for enjoyment for some days
