Raja, my processor is Dual Core, but not Quad. The graphics card isn't built-in; it's a seperate card. As for the sound card, I guess I have worse speakers than you because they're Altec Lansing 2.1 with two speakers and one sub. And since I live in an apartment, I can never really turn on the volume even on those ones because of all the people around. Also, I didn't "build" but "bought" my computer. I was planning on building one but the parts here were really expensive and the prices in Pakistan were very similar, so I decided to for a Dell XPS. Here are the specs, just for your letting you know.
PROCESSOR: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor E8400 (6MB L2 Cache,3.0GHz,1333FSB)
MEMORY: 4GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz - 4 DIMMs
HARD DRIVE: 500GB - Seagate 7200RPM, SATA 3.0Gb/s, 16MB Cache
GRAPHICS CARD: nVidia GeForce 9800 GT 512MB
OPTICAL DRIVE: Blu-Ray/HD-DVD reader (aftermarket)
SOUND CARD: Integrated 7.1 Channel Audio
I bought it for $960 and that included a 19" monitor, which I sold for $220. So basically, the computer was $740. How much did your computer cost you?
