Asslam-o-Alaikum:

I find no particular thread relating to oils for bikes only.

I request all the experts to kindly guide us for the best quality oil for different class of bikes

Currently iam using HAVOLINE for my ravi piaggio125. One of the experts advised me to read this article

After reading this i conclude that havoline is obsolete oil and zic is more advance than havoline?

i have also heard that zic is far more better than any brand. and also that it has long duration after which it needed to be replaced.

^^^ ZIC 4t. using it for one of the CD70 and different one for other, this gives me a very good comparisons for these oils.

at the moment Shell Red one is on the win in 4stroke bikes with ME.

As far as you are using the correct rated oil and geting the original one, (not the fake ones) you are good.

Use it for 1500 Km's.

But for dusty areas I will recomend Shell, its takes the dust and carbon particles in it, where ZIC which is synthetic mean no minerals..... and the oil with no minerals in it is not good to old engines which I refer to non Efi engines. or engines based from head to neck with old technology

So at this point engine technology of:-

-CD70
-CG125
-Cultus 3cylinder
-All rollas before 1991
-etc

@Silver: for your Peggio I will say zic 4t is good enough, cause your bike engine is new to the modern engine techniques.

^^^ I have no Idea for its official outlet in Khi, as for how to observe the quality I always have a good look on the Packaging and a verification from some senior head.
