Default My bike Ravi premium r1 70cc

    Hello guys,
As some of u know that I m using Ravi premium r1 as my daily ride.I brought this bike on 25 august 2014 (Brand new) but didn't getting time to make new thread on PW so today I throught to make thread as there is no thread on PW of this bike.OK now some information of this bike below.

1:70cc engine (same as in Ravi humsafer) cylinder size is 78cm as most of China bikes comes with it.
2eluxe type looks with front visor headlight.
3ual type speedo meter with high beam ignition and battery powered meter lights
    4:Higher in length&height than normal 70.
5:Very soft suspensions even works v.well with low weight rider like me.
6:Excellent acceleration and top speed than honda CD 70 and hero RF70.
7:Fuel economy is 68kmpl on economy speeds and 43kmpl at full throttle.

Now some details of the problems I have faced till now.

1:When I brought this bike the rear wheel is not moving freely as some thing is stuck in it so I took it to mechanic and mechanic said that rear wheel is not adjusted properly so he adjusted it properly and lossen the rear breaks a little than the problem went away. But after a few days I found than the problem is because of the broken rear break shoe replaced it with new one and it is working fine till then cost 200rs.
2:From the day one the battery is weak and the horn doesn't sound loudly as it should be the mechanic said that bike jub bike chale ga yo he problem be theek ho Jaye ga as abhi bike naya hai and I said to mechanic for a battery replacement as it never happened with my previous bikes (Honda cd70 and hero rf70) both bikes i brought brand new but he didn't listened and said the same anyways the problem automatically resolved after 1300kms
3: From the day one when I engage 4th gear the netrual gets on the meter but bikes runs fine through anyways I took to electraction and he solved the problem cost100rs.
4:Bike chain is becoming lose after every a week and the axle nut is slipping every time when the mechanic tighten the chain finally got to know that the orignal axle was faulty so replaced with new one costed rs120 with labour
5: original horn died at 7000km replaced with new one costed rs180
6: Replaced front break shoe at 8000km as I did not like the breaking performance from the day one of the original break shoe cost 250rs
7: The bike was making tuk tuk sound with it goes from any bump took it to mechanic and the problem was of front wheel bearing replaced it with new one cost200 rs
8: Recently the Bulb of the meter got fused through not a big deal.
9: Changed the head light bulb to Phillips moto m5 blue vision as not satisfied with stock bulb through the stock bulb is absolutely fine and lying with me

The motorcycle is driven 8749 till today and this is the list of problems I have faced.

    Now some about bike maintainance

    Using liquimoly formula super 20-50
With change intervals after 1500-2000 km same interval goes for tuning
Lubricate and tighten the chain after 1000km
Bike is waxed regularly after every 1 month
Tires pressure is maintained 25ps(front) and 33ps(rear) company recommended.

I tried my best to mention every thing about my bike but if I did not mention any thing feel free to ask from me.
    And apologies for any mistakes.

Now some pics of day 1

Update: Bike has been driven almost 30K till now i m sharing my experience with this bike:
The engine is extremely reliable wrt power and fuel average. I m getting it tuned after 3-6 months interval after every 5-7k. Using 20-50 valvoline champ 4t oli in summers aswell as in winters with 1000-1200kms intervals.Getting 45kmpl with hard driving. Vibrations r minimum till the speeds of 65kmph and berable at high speeds (not as high as other ravi owners r saying.). Now i will talk about the parts replaced from 10K to 30K. 1thing i dont like about this bike is that this is maintainace senstive bike unlike honda cd70 or maybe i drive on unpaved roads mostly thats why. Now coming to maintainace till (10-30k)kms date i have replaced:
    1: 2xChain spocket set.
2: Meter bulb and beam bulb in meter got fused.
3: Engine and Head jane got leaked at 29k kms. As bike is eating oli so got it done.
4: 2x Gear shaffered spring replaced.
5: 2x rear left indicator replaced due to accident.
    6: 2x meter cable replaced.
7: 1x rear break spring replaced
8: 4x break shoe both replaced.
    9: Back light got fused.
    10: 2x wheel baring replaced.
11: Handle golis (Dont remember the name exectly got it replaced).
12: 1x CDI unti mulfunctioned so got replaced.
13: Bike kick mulfunctioned got it replaced
14: Recently Fuel Tank got rusted from inside dont know due to fuel quality or due to tank inside quailty as it never happened with my any other bike got it so bike started missing washed and dryed the tank and filled up with fresh petrol and till date its fine drove 3000km after this.
15: Ignition switch mulfunctioned now at 29k
Thats all for now will be updating this thread regulary.
    Feel free to ask anything.

    3500km or 35000km?
about the maitainance part as i told before this is maitainance senstive bike and i live in area with broken roads or u can say no roads so this is also a reason for much more maitainance as every now and then i have to down shift gears and vice versa. And about the jane leakege my routes r mostly on isb expressway so have to push the bike to its limits caused the jane to leak. Plus u v well know the quailty of china bike now a days.
And i agree honda cd70 is much reliable then this thing kept 2005 model for 5years and done over 50k+ on it when sold and it never ever gave any problems.

But good thing about this bike is the engine is still untouched as i heard many bad words about china bikes engine that it requires overall after 20K but in my case i can easily smoke brandnew honda 70s.

    It was 35000 Kms
But I consider in similar conditions AHL CD 70 will perform well, so it is wise to spent little more if one can afford.
Yes any Chonda will easily smoke CD 70, I even seen these bikes crossing CG 125

altisdualvvti thanks for sharing detail experince with chinese 70cc

its long list of issues yes bike is ridden very good mileage 30,000km
but still its long list of issues, if there was CD70 with same mileage
list would have been very very short

So brother i would not call it reliable motorcycle

CD70 price is definitely much higher than chinese and i would not say its justified
but quality wise its definitely better in each & every part. chinese manufactures there
is huge cost cutting and they are not giving the good quality motorcycle

Yes honda quailty is better no doubt. But i said engine wise its reliable not parts wise. Read my above posts.
Still it gives around 80kmph topspeed with 45-50 average.
I remember many people have bad mouths about ravi engine when i m about to buy it.
But u can see 30k+ done and still counting With great pick and average.
[FONT=&quot]i believe if engine is reliable then thats it parts can be replaced like factory fitting perfactions but engine not plus u know our so called ustads.
