Did you note the average before changing the stuff. If so what was it?

Have you installed the OEM air filter or some local brand?

I think you have 1KR-FE engine installed in your car.

Go with 5W-30 grade oil. I think Shell helix ultra 5W-30 (full synthetic) is the oil u should be using if u like Shell Brand. Please confirm from the oil can once purchased.

Viscosity is the resistance to flow of oil. It is proportional to the temperature. The bigger the number, the thicker the oil. An oil with less viscosity number will flow easily than an oil with high viscosity at a given temperature. The yellow Daba oil you have put is I think either 10w40 or 20W50 due o which your fuel consumption has increased.
You may change the oil to 5W-30 but also oil filter has to be changed.

If i were u, I would have changed it instantly. Because, the lubrication of engine is compromised at starting from cold to warm- up of the engine. 70% of engine wear and tear takes place during this period.

As mentioned earlier, that's too thick for the type of vehicle you have. Go for 5W30.

Guys, I agree that he is using thicker oil. But will it effect the mileage so much; 14 >> 10 km/l.

Well lets see the result after change of oil.

I feel that its the air filter, he has installed some cheap filter which is blocking the flow of air.

My dear super the mob at the moment zic oil are the best & available in reasonable prices. all zic oils have a quality as they are thin & will be not be a cause to pressure on your car engine & also improves fuel average next time be careful always use zic oil
