its civic 04
i have noticed that hot air keeps coming from ventilators even though its on cold mode not the heat mode :S
and second thing is i am driving it on cng,previous owner told that it gives 160km in one cylinder where as its giving around 60km only :@
what should I do?

remove the hot water pipes from the heater that come from radiator, ur hot air issue will be resolved, and ur 2nd issue having different reasons like
1. Wheel size
2. Proper tunning
3.Driving style
etc

i dont know where to locate that pipe,em quite a newbie

i usually drive slow,brake alot at bumps n U turns etc,somtimes keep heavy foot till it reaches 80 but still 160 n 60

^^^^get it tuned simply on cng,as uve bot it recently u should change all lubricants,timing belt and get it tuned for reliability sake.

there is a tiny motor that drives the vent for hot water for heater, that motor might be jam, it is situated a on the wall where chasis number is printed just in the line of wiper switch to be exact :D. it is very narrow place, its better to take ur car to AC guys, they'll fix it.
as for average, probably he would be lieing, as i personally tried everything, literally everything but i never make up above 100km with AC. my tank fill ups at ard 8-8.25 kgs of gas.

remove the cng kit if it is an auto transmission car
cng ruins both the engine plus the gearbox of an auto car

The heater valve in your car is made of plastic (extremely stupid design) it jams when the coolant gets too hot and specially if the coolant is plain water, the best fix is to replace that valve, its by the steering rack assy on the firewall. Cheaply available too as all Hondas use the same stupid plastic valve.

n where should i go for the heater valve,some best mechanic for the purpose?
i dont know if my mechanic would know honda stuff or not + i dont have that much cash to get looted by honda shops

i am not driving it on AC,still this low average,i got the cng full,n then i got cng for 260rs after driving around 38km :o

i cant remove cng,atleast its more economical than the petrol whose price is rising each month.

usually i drive normally unless i get open road with few cars,then only i press it full,n this auto car shifts on its own will,sometimes the rpm gets full n i realize that from engine's sound lol,i dont know how it shifts when i want it to speed up quickly,sometimes i just lift my foot from accelerator it shifts and sometimes it doesnt :S

Do the following procedure
turn the key to ACC position, the position at which the audio system is on and the ignition isnt. press the defogger and recirculate button simultaniously and turn the key to ignition, while keeping the two buttons pressed, this will enter in self diagnostics mode, and your airconditioning system will be checked, including the thermostat, after the test is finished if the recirculate light blinks that means there is some problem, if it blinks 9 times that means the motor is stuck
it is a ong process of rectifying it, the whole dashboard needs to be opened, but in my civic the mechanic sprayed wd40 on the motor and it started to work, the motor is located beneath the centre console, you need to open the cover beneath the steering wheel to spray wd 40. As far as the consumption s concerned, you need to have the adjustment done

i tried it,AC light got on n then air started coming out n after that light blinked for 7 times,took a pause,blinked 7 times again n so on

so it blinked 7 instead of 9,is it the same problem n same issue as mentioned above?

i thought tire size is 195 65 15
but it is 205 60 R15,maybe thats one of the reason of poor mileage
