                      All i seek is the heaven above and road below me.

These are verses from a poem, but i am not sure if i have got them right, still if someone ever asked me what did i want from life? Most probably the above lines would be my answer. Nothing gives me more pleasure than hitting the road with a thought of long journey ahead, add the freedom of motorcycle riding to it and the picture completes, almost perfect. With the same spirit i left home on 1st of this month from Karachi. I will post the details alongwith the pictures day wise, from day 1 to day 28. For the details of my preparations for the trip see the short ride report i have already posted. For the first 2100 kms i rode solo, then was joined by other members of
PAKISTAN BIKERS CLUB
in Islamabad for rest of the trip.

DAY ONE 1 july 2009

Karachi to Bela (190 kms)

I left in the late afternoon at about six to avoid extreme heat of the day. At Uthal took a break and had tea with a friend at his farm. Then left for Bela where i had decided to stay for the night at my home. Bela is my home town. U people have already seen the pics of the area in other thread so not many pics for the day.

DAY TWO 2 JULY 2009

Bela to Quetta (540 kms)

Ileft home fairly early at about 6 am but then stopped for offering prayers and to have a cup of tea when i hit the main RCD highway. So when i finally got going for the day it was almost 7 am. Road was fine and newly constructed for 60, 70 kms but then all the way to Wadh it was under construction and i had to eat lot of dust but atlaeast it was smooth and not very bumpy, some sections were quite fun to ride cause i like riding on dirt. Pics down here might give u some idea.

Next i stopped in Khuzdar for fuel. Didnt stay for long and after short break was on my way. Road was good and place familiar so covered some distance in good time. Apart from short breaks every 60, 70 kms i took long break in Khadkoocha for lunch a few kms before Mastung. Didnt take many photos, see for urself why.

After this temperature started rising, road became impossible to ride on, traffic increased and it became quite tough. I rode on with just one thing on my mind "get to Quetta". And after having lunch at Macca hotel Khadkoocha i finally reached Quetta at four pm and went to a friends place where i had decided to stay. After salam i went straight to take a cold shower, and man cant tell u how much i enjoyed it after that tough ride.

In Quetta i didnt do anything but this

I enjoyed for five days just relaxing at my friends place. Mostly lying around and having discussions with friends or getting lessons on the game of snooker.

DAY SEVEN 7 JULY 2009

Quetta to Ziarat and Back (270 kms)

In my actual plan night stay in Ziarat was planned and coming back to Quetta was not part of it. I wanted to take Ziarat, Sanjawi road to Loralai after staying a day and night in Ziarat but many things never go as planned on such trips. I left Quetta at 7:30 am fo Ziarat. Till Kuchlak road was under construction and again lot of dust but after that the road was fine. Real fun began where Road seperates for Ziarat, from there the road was less wider and with lots of twisties. Temperature was ok, scenery was not bad and the road was good so i enjoyed the ride.

I took some rest and had breakfast at Green Juniper restaurent

I chose a seat placed under the low hanging branches of a peach tree.
