Dear All,

Im planning to move from Karahci to Lahore by Road on my own vehicle. I need to know the easiest way from Karachi to Lahore and some guide lines to help me n(like complete road guideline and stops, precautions). Also please guide me that is is safe to travel in Sindh area at night so that i reach lahore in day time.

well its good to go by road to lahore on ur own vehicle.

there is no issue travelling in nights, but better u travelle from midnight to midnight or stay in middle at sadiqabad or any suitable place u want.

in my openion u start your journey from 4am or 3 am because when sun shines you will be near moro or above it, and can travel safely.

motor way police is everywhere and can reach within 5 minutes on superhighway or motorway, so there is no issue

but first of all maintain your ride for long journey,
oil must be changed tires condition must be good.
tools for changing tires must be with you,
medicines for handling emergencies must be with u.
always wear seat belt
always obey warning and safety signs on road,
must have your documents of vehicle with you
must have your driving licence with you.
do not overburden your vehicle with loads of things,
drive save.

Please mention your car aswell Travelling on jeep is better. I recently came to Lahore in 12 hours on my Prado from KOTRI (HYD) on an average speed of 85km/h with H.I.Ds. I started my journey at 7.00 PM from my factory in KOTRI (HYD) and was in lahore @ 7.20 am. I will advise you not to enter in Multan city though take a short cut from Bhawalpur - Khanewal i.e 100km road (underconstruction) but still saves 1.5 - 2 hours and travel in night is perfect just make sure your wheels are perfect, visibility is clear & safar ke dua. It is safe to travel in Sindh. On car it usually takes 14 - 15 hours (i took on civic from KOTRI (HYD) to Lahore).

Can anyone advise me where one should stay at night when traveling with family from Karachi to Lahore? Saqidabad, Rahim yar khan OR anywhere else? also please recommend hotel. Last time I stayed in Sakkar as there was some issue in my car and i got late but then from Sukkar to Lahore in one day was a long trip.

Salam Pakwheelers, I always wanted to have road trip to lahore from karachi, In dec 2016 my dream came true when i traveled to lahore in my car ( Cultus 04 ).
