today i was making a check list for my expedition for which inshallah i am leaving next month
thought to share this list with u fellows as well. perhaps this list may help some one else or some one can give me an addition or subtraction in this list.
i normally divide an expedition into three parts
1. camping equipment
2. kitchen equipment/ food
3. personal stuff
Camping Equipment:
Rucksacks (each member has to bring his own)
Tent
matresses (each member has to bring his own)
sleeping bags (each member has to bring his own)
flash light
ice axes (if required)
climbing rope (if required)
tissue paper
dagger (for wood and meat)
soap
toothpaste
masking tape
cloth tape
tent repair kit
extra straps for tent or ruck sack
GPS if available
LOTA
Telcom Powder
kitchen Equipment/ Food:
stove
kerosene oil
bar b q bars/other bar b q utilities
cooking pot
cooking oil
tea pot
personal mugs and plates (plastic made)
matchboxes/lighters
medication tablets
first aid kit
crape bandages
spoons
tang/ glucose/ chocolates/candies
knorrr cubes/ spices/ salt/ pepper
sugar/tea leaf/ milk powder
egg powder
salt/ spices/ black pepper/ mix misala packs
Meggi noddles (i prefer Meggi + egg powder in breakfast)
dried mushrooms (best to take with, energetic and tasty)
tin food (depends upon u)
tin opener
water purification tablets (seldom used in my case)

extra trousers/ shirts/ shorts
trekking boots/ rubber shoes (for river/ water crossings)

wind breakers/ water breakers

towel/ (i prefer FALASTINI ROMAL as it is multipurpose)

fishing eqpt (if required as per nature of trek/ expedition)

never ever litter
leave no trace in campsite carry all the stuff back after using/ dont spoil our own beauties...
