As you know that a part of our Atomic reactor is In Kahuta......

So its a sensitive area.........................

Next Trip (a short trip) INSHALLAH ...will be to snow covered NathiaGali....which I visited "ALL ALONE " on Suzuki Gymni Jeep....Some very nice pics are there to Share....But lets finish this trip first....:)..

Rehman bhai very nice going and please let me know the route from Lahore to Rawlakot and Banjusa lake and also please confirm the distance and drive time it took from lahore.

Can I go there for 1 day trip from Lahore?

I did'nt know about that area so important tips will be much appreciated.

yes ..you are right.....originally a 660CC turbo...but now a 1300CC DOHC....nice n small ride...enjoyed a lot driving it on snow....:)...

There must be many routes to Rawlakot but the best one is the same which i took....i.e...from ISLAMABAD to Kahuta,Azad Pattan and rawla kot...another is from muzaffarabad via bagh to rawlakot.....which is longer and bad....
driving time.....well...4 to 5 hours from Lahore to islamabad...depends you go by motor way or GT road.....and at vleast 3/3.5 hours from Islamabad to Rawlakot....and another hour to Banjusa lake...
Round trip from lahore is not possible in one day....I think...:)...
banjusa is a "man made artificial" small lake with a lot of green surroundings.....lake itself is so so but very photogenic...
ifyou have seen a lot of natural ones....then it may not appeal you.....:D...A lot of rest houses are surrounding the lake.....belonging to different govt dept.....some advance booking is a must if you want to enjoy the lake and its enviornment.....hotels near the lake are not good....weather is not cold in july when we went but hot and humid....
mmmmmm....what else.....nothing more coming in my mind .....:D.....Please ask if i missed something.....

trip on mini pajero was also very enjoyable.....may be better than this one...we also enjoyed a lot...but could not find time to go through the pics/thread again....

when we left Islamabad and took this road ....we did not come across any shop from where we could buy "ZAAD_E_RAAH"....:D...I mean kids stuff...like chips/juice/chocolate....

found a small shop here ....so stopped to get this stuff and some information as well...

The shop guy said that avoid photography in this area......Openly.....:)....

we continued ...from the driver's and passenger's seats....
