We are Planning to go N A R A N in first week of D E C E M B E R. kindly guide how far we can go Kaghan onwards to Naran on 7th of december?

Kindly update us with your valuable comments.
I am going with friends, for snow and all this stuff...(H)

I was there this year Jan 1st week. There was not much snoow up until Kaghan but beyong Kaghan it was reachable only by Jeep owing to too much snow. We stayed a night in Kaghan and it was "uff sardi" and too lonely. Only one dhaba and two hotels were open.

u wont find more than 1 or 2 hotels open in naran plz confirm tat b4 leaving and also snow condition. agar early snow par gai tu then u wont be able to reach naran on any vehicle...
u will have to go on foot a little ahead of kaghan.
under normal conditions ull be able to reach naran by road
yes it will be damn cold and u will wish it snowed. wind will be high and cold so take wind breakers with u.

you will be able to reach till Kaghan on normal vehical but may need a 4x4 to go beyond Kaghan.. it will be damn cold specailly in nights so be ready for it

hoteling option will also be very limited.. in last January there was only one hotel open in Kaghan and none was in Naran.. any way, it was a superb trip and Naran was like a lonely planet as compare to Summer

i dont think soo k aisa December main ho sakta hai... Becoz aisa tb he hota hai jab Temprature High ho aur Glacier Melt ho raha hon.. December main Glaciers Kaafi kam ho chukay hotay hain aur Ziada melt bhi nhi hotay...

I think we would be manage only Kaghan and surroundings... and i guess that would be more than FUN. what do you suggest for Shogran?

Question 2: What would be snow fall position of Nathiyagali and Aiyubia in December?

Thanks my friend, I am really impressed with your passion towards adventure. Can you please guide me about Kashmir, as we will have a plenty of time (around 9 days from whole round trip i.e. karachi to karachi).

Snow is not predictable... Depend on weather... in December.

Shogran is also gud... Road will be open..

ap log karachi se by Air jao ge ya by train ...?
you have 9 days & if you travel via train your 4 days consume just in train travel from karachi to Rwp & Rwp to Karachi then you have only 5 days to enjoy north so decide your plan according to this ...!

for those who are thinking for going to Naran or Kaghan valley or planning for any winter survival expedition this year its gonna be too much .
As was in Kaghan on 11 to 13 October for an expedition to Chambra Peak 4600 M but we have to abort our plan due to severe weather condition and snowfall . We manage to reach till Shingri Peak 3800 m .
