*Second visit: 7th December 2013. From Nathia Gali side (Part Two). Instead of making a new thread want to post some shots in previous thread and try to compare the same place in WINTER/AUTUMN perspective. (Page 58)
In my last winter survival, though we did a tough snow trekking of about 18km but we called that trip unsuccessful as we couldn?t reach/try the Saif ul Malook lake due to harsh weather and continues snow falling. A few days ago,I called to Mr Salman who was a co traveler in our Naran Trekkking tour and he told me about Makshpuri Winter survival plan(Arranged by Indus Adventure Club). I made a plan and ?HIFZ E MUQADAM? shared with a FSD Friend and consequently we joined that trip.
Not an easy one regarding risk factor. Once you slipped and ??:$.and pictures will tell the exact story
Weather was awesome, snow top, sunshine, enthusiasm, trekking, hiking,camping and spent a night at below freezing point made the whole tour unforgettable??and pictures ?.you definitely loving it to see the whole series of snaps.
Our Itinerary was
Departure from FSD : 05:30
Reached in ISD :9:30
Meeting point at Faizabad & Traveling start time for Dunga Gali: 10:30
Reached Dunga Gali: 13:30
Trek Start time: 14:00 (5th PAGE)
Reach on top: 16:30(stated was mine. Team members reached from 15:45 to 17:30) (20th PAGE)
Activities at top: Bonfire, Sunset Photoshot, night photo shot, making meal etc etc
Sleeping time: 23:000
Next Morning Wake up time: 6:45 (28th PAGE)
Left for Makashpuri View point: 09:00 (32nd PAGE)
Return to camp: 10:15 (46th PAGE)
Return to Dunga Gali: 10:20
Reached Dunga Gali: 12:00
Reached ISD: 15:00
Reached FSD: 20:00
We were 12 members at start and out of it 10 memebers succeeded to reach the camping site. Two have returned from mid way to do it for another day.
Team Members: Mr Usama(Team Leader), Mr Salman(will share its night photo graphy at the end), Mr Zulfiqar, Mr Umer, Mr Hammad, Mr Asad, Mr Faraz (faraz 74), Mr Khizar, Mr Hashim and Me. Mr Umer and Mr Rizwan trekked till half way.
I was not in a mood to start a new thread for this tour rather was interested to keep posting in previous months winter survival Naran thread but I have to follow the instructions of fellow PW friends, so I did?but this time expected some BREAK/START intervals,
so advance sorry for that.
