last week got chance to visit Taj Mahal Agra India so sharing pics taken from my ordinary auto focus camera sure in reality taj mahal far differnt and beautiful

on 4th feb evening one of my customer in delhi kind enough to hire one toyota inova van with driver for me to visit agra, from delhi to agra having 2 highways, one is old having lot of traffic and one recently constructed 6 lane motorway., distance from my hotel in delhi to agra through this motorway was somewhat 225 km but it took at least 1 hours from my hotel to motorway due to too much traffic and rain as well. well its newly constructed motorway but quality of construction not as good as our lahore -islamabad motorway, max speed limit 100km , seems people dont have proper knowhow for motorways driving, mostly cars overtake us from left side though in india cars / roads are for right hand but still it was surprise for me, very few cars overtake us from right side, no use of indicator for over taking, though india is rich country , almost every brand of car over there but from detailers eye mostly cars are not blingo blingo as like we have in pakistan

traffic is worst , no line and lane rule, so many cars having brocken side view mirrors and rest folded them for protection

here is inova van used for this trip, this van is very famous in india specialy for commercial use

i was on business visa without police reporting with double entry 6 months visa , got visa for delhi, kanpor, agra, chennai, ranipat, mumbai

my visa port of entry and exit was delhi , visa was good for air travel only so i got flight from lahore to delhi and than domestic flights from delhi to chennai etc

yes u can get visa for port of entry exit as wagha border , but u are not allowed to bring ur car to india , u can to go by bus.

for agra visit my one of customer hired a rented van for delhi -agra -delhi

well both countries political situation not good specialy in media but in india i didnt felt/ smell anything wrong, delhi airport immigration staff behaviour was friendly , specialy i was having business visa non police reporting so i felt their behaviour with me was further polite than thoes who having visa to meet relatives and having police reporting with limited fix dates visa

its my almost 4th or 5th trip to india but this time got chance to visit agra to see taj mahal

overall common people in india very nice , friendly , they dont have issues with pakistani people , in some areas of india like mumbai , gujrat area there is some tenshion between hindus and muslims.

indian growing with rapid speed in economey as almost whole of world supporting them , investing there. pakistan greatly hurting due to this afghan war

no problem for food as almost same taste as like us, ample shopping opertunites and i got looooooooooooooooooooong list from my wife to buy from india

I wished that we could bring our own car over the border, since travelling with a personal car is much more flexible but meh..

I don?t know about Delhi, man come to Mumbai, I doubt you will go back with all your bones. Roads suck here & traffic my god, I hate it. Every morning I have to spend 1 and half hrs to travel 14 km, office main aate aate pure energy hi gayab ho jyati hai.

next morning visited taj mahal , from main road its about half km to tak mahal entrance , mode of trasportation from main road to main entrance

1) walking talking alongwith many monkeys ( free of cost just have to give somthing to monkeys to eat and to enjoy their company )
2) ching chee rs5/person
3) camel cart rs10/person
4) battery oprated golf cars rs20/person

exchange rate i pak rs = indian rs 1.85

i opted first choice and gave some some nuts to monkeys which they didnt liked so i have to share couple of bananas which they liked very much

ticket house:
for foreigners indian rs510
for indian nationals rs20

well i could easily enjoyed rs20 ticket due to same complexion but problem was on indian national ticket window about half km long que so unwillingly i have to spent indian rs510 with ticket i got one small bag having water bottle , plastic soft bags to cover my shoes ( as for rs20 ticket i had to put off my shoes before entring into taj mahal )
than also long que for rs20 ticket holders to enter into main building and than same long que for passing through security door where as rs510 ticket holders didnt have long que for both purpose

chennai traffic was worst , i dont understand why people use car to go any where , one can go by foot faster than car, roads are on not very good not very bad, highway to ranipat, nice clean road just bit narrow , roads in delhi are also ok but in office /school time too much rush, this time i didnt visit mumbai but in past i had been there twice , mumbai is very nice city, a city of life, more advance city in fashion, living style, i remmber last time i stayed at juhu beach
yes u are right too much traffic , main roads are very well built but inner city roads bit bumpy, mumbai people bit formal, where as in delhi people are open and friendly, but chennai people soo innocent and simple

well lahore tarffic not that bad and roads conditions bit better , its natural , these indian cities very big , a lot population so tarffic conditions are natural
