Hello all. Its pleasure to be here. Love to see people travelling around the country for the love of the nature.

Always wanted to experience Frozen Saiful Malook. Finally I made it. I am sharing all details here.

Roads condition: Good till Kaghan. From there till Naran, there are around 4-5 heavy glaciers so my advice is that don't take your own ride until end of May.

Weather: Cold but bearable, still do take jackets with you.

Hotels: So far rates are economical ranging from Rs 1,000-3,000.

Good news is that finally we have a bank over there with ATM facility. Bank Islamic was setting up.

Only 10% hotels and Bazar is opened so we decided to cook on our own. Stayed at Zam Zam Hotel @ Rs 1,000 per night

All set to go on the next Morning. We left for Lake around 9:30 AM. Took all the equipments like shoes, sticks and rain coat on rent from Paramount store @100 each/day.

On the way to the lake. Good news is that from the bridge, you can take jeep which goes up to 3km from where the glaciers start.

The difficulty of the track is around medium. Takes around 3 hours if you go non-stop. Some tricky path in between but easily manageable

Well all goes fine until this very last point which is tricky yet funny. At this point you have to climb up like you are doing rock climbing. You have to take each step with care as few people slipped from it. Still it was manageable.

The funny part is when you are returning from lake and you reach to this point and wonder how we are going to get down... Well you have to slide from up to all the way down.

This is it. Finally made it. Looked impossible as many people said don't go. There was rain, clouds, it was dark but it didn't stop us. I can't explain the joy we had as soon as we saw this. Been waiting for this for so long and finally dream come true. People who made it were screaming with joy.

Only 1 % of the lake is uncovered, rest is still covered with deep and thick snow.
