After alot of hiccups and 'buts' and 'can'ts' we finally managed to visit neelum valley-something that had been on the 'to do list' for quite some time now.
a group of 13 people including myself agreed to join in. and a booked high roof (13 seater) seemed the best option to be our ride for the trip. After deciding the mode of transport the main issue was about deciding the places to visit and the places to stay. making an itinerary also seemed quite tricky for which i consulted apnay pakwheeler brothers.
i would especially like to thank @mudasernaeem and asif bhai @asifcae for taking out time and giving very important information and advices over the phone , mobeen bhai @aesiege for helping me make an itinerary on phone as well as on skype, nomi bhai @nomi700 for arranging a meeting to share his experiences and expert opinion on neelum and finally fahad bhai @fobak who arranged literally everything for us on this trip.
So, here is a quick look at the itinerary:
day 1: departure from lhr at 2:30am. short stays at lala musa, phagwari, mzd, dhani. night stay at upper neelum resort.
day 2: left upper neelum. short stays at mandkaro and kel. night stay at taobutt.
day 3: left taobutt. short stay at kel. night stay at arrang kel.
day 4: explored arrang kel. night stay at arrang kel.
day 5: left arrang kel. short stay at kel and sharda. explored sharda. night stay at mandkaro.
day 6: left mandkaro. short stay at dhani. reached mzd. explore. and night stay at mzd.
day 7: departure for lhr. short stays at murree and jehlum. reached lhr by 8:30pm.
