Our university took us to nothern area for 8 day long trip... It was mind blowing....
really.... Karakoram Highway is 8th wonder of world.... whoever has visited it will agree with me... there's no place like this on Earth!!!

On our way to Shigar Valley

Rs 2.5 Lack Shawl....(in HUNZA) It takes 35 months to make it... it is made up of belly feathers of a bird (forgot the name)... it has also got microscopic Embroydry... the guy passed it through a very small Ring... and it easily slipped out of it... :)

.... This plane crashed in skardu a long time ago... Amazingly no body was Killed.... The owner of shangrilla Baught it.. n men pulled it themselves all the way from skardu to shangrilla(it took them 3 months to do this task... The Whole SHangrilla place is based on a Chinese novel ( "Heaven On Earth").. in that novel... a plane crashed in a very beautiful place... all people were killed only one man survived... that guy thaught that he was dead n was in Heaven..... in the end... that guy realised that he was alive when rescue team rescued him...
Right now in the plane... there's a coffe shop ...

An amazing place at skardu.... A stream of water.... behind it Pure Desert... and behind desert.. Mountains covered with snow.... That was gr8

Thatta Pani .... Its a famous water stream.... the water passes through Natural sulphur deposits... so its boiling Hot... really....

Excellent pics! I've been to all these places in early 90s. It for sure looks like heaven.... The pics u named as hunza 1, hunza 2, hunza 3 reminds me the cars and suvs of Mir Sultan of Gilgit. His rides are often in Islamabad and there numbers are hunza 1 hunza 2 and on till hunza 7.
Anyways waiting for ur more pics.
