Automotorsport_lover is absolutely correct!
Just read the given tire pressures (for cold tires) on your tires. Always check and fill your tires when they are cold - because when the tires are warm, the air inside expands and this gives an incorrect reading.
Secondly, dont listen to what the guys at the petrol pumps say, the manufacturers are not stupid - just fill in pressure given by your tire manufacturer.
Secondly, about your grip problem - what I have experienced from my bike is that from time to time - dust and other dirt gets collected in the treads of my tires. They need to be washed and scrubbed off. So after I get my bike serviced, the tires are absolutely clean. This restores the tire grip.
Btw ... the biggest factor is the lousy road quality of Pakistan. Islamabad probably has the best roads in Pakistan - apart from the Motorway. Whenever I go to Pindi, I experience a drastic reduction in road grip. Maybe its the same in Abbotabad.
