Sir Type S was a Premium model to bridge between an entry level Accord and top CL7 Euro R.
Available since 2002, It was mainly produced for Euro market, but also available in Japanese CL9, no CL number was awarded to it, like the Diesel one but all were made in Japan.
Its highlights were the deeply incline nose, 5 spoke alloys in black (dark grey), slim headlights and side skirts.
It also had stiffer suspension setup with 16" low profiles tire, seats were clouded with alcantara and with a carbon fiber like plastic.
2.4L iVTEC (in 2002) having 190bhp with a 6 speed manual, the one that also powered CL9 (Japanese) and North American Acura TSX .
Honda VSA for traction and grip and dual zone climate controls as well as DVD Sat NAV were standard.
There were also CL7, CL8 and CL9 in 7th Gen Accord and many trims like 24TL.
