Agenda thoughts: Well I have been thinking about it and here are my suggestions, may be it is not a proper agenda, but the format of the meeting, whatever. You can always pick/drop anything.
Since it is 2nd, but first BIG meeting, we should have a few agenda items to keep it smart and manageable.
REGISTRATION: Mebers arrive at the venue and sign a roll with their name, pakwheel nick, brief car info
WELCOME REMARKS
To be delivered by???? 5-7 minutes
Welcoming all members for showing up, introducing the objective of the moot etc (but not very long as it would be boring for many) THEN ask members to introduce themselves
INTRODUCTION ROUND: Members form a large circle and introduce them to each other, giving their names, what car they drive, what interests they have, what they expect from the forum (this part has to be noted down for the minutes of meeting).
ACTIVITY I: The coordinator/person who conducts the meeting then gave a breif outline of the activities/events of the day.
RESOLUTION/CHARTER/MISSION STATEMENT: I suggest that Islamabad members should develop and agree on a breif mission statement. That would help us streamlining our future activities. We should also develop a charter or constitution (not very legal or longish) but it can help us later when we go for registration (We have a laywer friend who wrote wonderful Altis review and would need his input).
CODE OF CONDUCT: A simple four to five point code of conduct about the meetings and the informal rules of business, so that everyone has a fair sense of participation based on mutual respect. Stuff like no discrimination on the basis of gender, faith, caste, colour of the member or his/her ride.
About activities/events I am blank at the moment, but hope that this input would be useful.
best regards and thanks Agha for calling this afternoon.
