Reborn accident on double road in F-11

just saw an accident in front of my home few mints back

civic 1.8 was driven by service center employee..although it was there for cut-cream..but he was driving without permission of owner and was speeding

he got in contact with a bike at very high speed.....and then car got out of control....hitting side ways...resulting in broken rim and sus and axle..

car took almost 200meters to stop from the point of impact

bike guy was injured badly and was taken to hospital and he was riding without helmet

most of all honda Airbags did not worked at all..although front was damaged....bumper was on the road apart from the car

owner was going back to pick his car and he found the car on road

got two pics from home top..so had to zoom in

dayum.....never leave big engines with kiddos

btw accidents here in islamabad are increasing day by day ..speed cameras should be up again and should be rotating frequently at difference places...and i believe speeding ticket should be raised to around 1000rs ......ITP should purchase more cameras ..the roads here are good and peope generaly tend to over speed as its in the blood line of most Pakis ..infact most human beings

i can bet he was not wearing seat belt thats why air bags did not deploy.

very bad accident but almost 70% of us dont wear seatbelts while driving. and i can bet he was one them and thats the case why the airbags didnt work.

^^ that is the case in lahore and karachi.

but in islamabad most ppl wear seat belts, this is what i hav observed here. Even most of the taxi driver uses them.

No airbags? This seems like the base model which is without airbags as the side mirror indicators are not visible and the stock rims are also not there which only 1 oriel owner replaces out of 1000 oriel owners.

Sad. One should never leave such cars with service people to play around. Damage of this kind is really difficult to be repaired as stock.
I think people in Islamabad should start thinking seriously about safe driving while not being observed or checked.
