So i want to buy a 2002 civic as a project car. Now what i was loooking at i think i kind of found it. Just need abit of advice wether i should buy it or not.
Its a 2002 civic vti manual. Always driven on petrol and a perfect body and chassis and almost a very good engine. The ac works perfectly and the interior of the car is in good shape as well.
Now the downside. The car has been driven for about 150,000km for sure (the dial kinda freezed and is stuck at 22,000 but i kinda know the owner so i know it is) The suspension of the car is in pretty bad shape. the engine belts, all of them need to be replaced as well as the tires. The car has also had one major accident but was repaired very nicely by Honda Quaideen. Has a few bumps here and there right now.
The most important thing now .. the price tag,. Its about 400,000. I would need to replace quite a few things in the car like the suspension since its a project car like the suspension so im kind of relaxed but still in need of some professional advice from people who have done this stuff.
Hoping to get some valuable advise.
Regards.
