@nick.... He he.... datz always has the guns ready to defend the Revo......
@storm bhai, yes.. you had made a real good point bro. about the Merc. and Revo having similar structure, specially around the side mirror area. No other car has that, and initially people were joking about REVO's huge Side mirror mold. But now look at who else has that similar large area around Side mirrors, but Merc. has installed a glass instead of Plastic to cover that big gap around the side mirror assembly.
@man1. You have your way of looking at things, I respect that, and not every one thinks alike, and thats why we have diversity in thinking, which is a good thing, I might add.
Like I've said earlier, the design is SIMILAR..I did not say 100% exact same copy. There is a difference in being similar, i.e. following somewhat similar design cues, but making your own design.
Merc. also has larger windshield, and to blend that HUGE windshield with the bonnet, they used the seamless A-Pillar design to blend in with the fenders. Sort of like Toyota Previa, Minivan, very common in US, or for that matter, even most other American Minivans, that use, similar A-pillar structure to blend in with fenders.
But this merc. is unique, its not a minivan, but a sub compact car, the size of Revo, probably slightly larger.
I think this is the first time, I have just compared the two, and to be honest, I think not even Adam Motors is aware of this ACCIDENTAL similarity. As I have been searching about this car for a year now, and the initially design cues for Revo, were from a Chinese Model, XJ80 or some other weird name like that. Adam Motors imported the Engine from Wuling of China, and also shares the Headlights, and Tail lights from that Model XJ80.
But the front, the side, and all the other design are 100% Adam Motors original creation.
At another post, I compared Revo with Toyota Vitz. It has aweful lot in common with that car as well, but only from the side. Due to both being Cab-Forward design.
