Storm & other Pw Brothers,
Thanx a lot for the appriciations.Yes indeed i spend Rs:100,000/- Including A/c & Roof Rack on this machine. As u know upgrading a Jeep is an ongoing project. But I am pretty satisfied with it.Inerior work is amazing. The guy "Jani" did an excellent job.It lloks like a saloon model now.
I am planing to visit Naran on 01-06-07 with family. Will send u more pics of the Jeep as Roof rack & sound system is going to be installed today.I know the offroad capabilities of this machine & now my wife & Offroad Junior (Son) is very happy as A/c cooling is superv. And this machine is close to a Land Cruiser which I was unable to afford :).
It has a very powerfull high speed 2.8L Turbo Diesel engine & by installing 5fwd Gear I pushed it to 150 Km/h on Motorway link.Normally I wont drive 4x4 fast but just for checking the Top speed. It becomes very smoth at 3000 Rpm by giving a cruise speed of 125 Km/h & gives 12Km per Liter Avg.
Well in my openion it was the best option I can adopt in a price Tag of Rs:400,000/- as it contains all the luxury now:
1-Power Steering
2-Serva Breaks
3-A/c & Heater
4-Luxury seats
5-Leather Interior
6-Hi Fi Sound System
7-4wd (High & Low Range)
8-Trunk,Big Lugage Roof Rack which can carry my all equipments e.g (Tents,Sleeping bags,Lots of Shikar stuff)
And its a very hard core offroad machine so am I a very hard core offroader.I always test 4x4 to its limit. This Jeep is ISB registered with original Reg book & all Docs clear.
In this price tag other option I got was a old Three Door Pajero,Willys,Cj-5 or Cj7.
So I decided for a hard top 4x4 which can serve as a family SUV as well.
Now I will writes on top of its frontb number plate.
"Fun Begins Where Road Ends"
Regards,
Fahad
