In the rest of the world, there is 1.3 Liter Honda city are available which is far more economical than 1.5 variant. Read the report: Honda Philipines
The City 1.3 i-DSI registered an amazing 29.42 kilometers per liter run during the Honda City/Jazz fuel economy run from San Pedro, Laguna portion of the South Super Highway up to the Petron Station at the Batangas exit of the Southern Tagalog Access Road (STAR) highway two weeks ago.
Considered a breakthrough in engine technology by Honda, the 1.3-liter i-DSI (Intelligent Dual and Sequential Ignition) engine uses a two-spark plug and two-valves per cylinder layout with individually controlled ignition timing.
Such engine performance is translated to a more rapid and complete combustion that results to improved fuel efficiency.
Small but terrible, 1.3 i-DSI power plant flexes a moderate 82 ps @5,700 rpm and since the City has a lightweight body, acceleration was not at all compromised.............
I guess Honda should introduce 1.3 i-DSI Variant here in Pakistan coz, keeping in view of increasing fuel prices, it would be a great selling car .. 29 km/liter ,, its amazing isn't it ... the URL for the report is:
