Exclamation Suzuki's Certified Mechanics at Showroom

    Aoa,

around 8-9 days back I bought a new GS-150, but unfortunately on my way back to home after doing 0.4 Kms I have noticed some serious problems, Which are:

1- Bike was taking jerks as the petrol level is too low (but the tank was full)
2- Sound of Tapits/Taibits was there (which I do understand It's a new bike )

well, today I have planned to go and ask the showroom manager to resolve these issues (keep in mind my bike is only 412 kms driven till now). He called his mechanic and told him to resolve the issues, and ask me to sit in the waiting area, but as I am a bike-freak I ignored his directions and reached to their mechanical Department. What I have found there was:

The Mechanic was continuously accelerating my bike with the full throttle and I started shouting at him. then he start making faces and said "Bhai Kuch bhi nahi hota New Bike hai"

    So,

I want to ask/need suggestions was he right ?? or wrong ??

giving throttle and get the scream out of engine that is what most mechanics are expert in it

new bikes should not be given too much throttle its harmful for engine i have seen mechanics
when the first ever bike is started after purchased they give throttle which is disaster

in your case if your bike were having issue if his intention was just to check then ok and bike
fairly driven almost touching 500km but still if he was giving too much throttle thats not right

this is habbit of most mechanics they give throttle to really extreme in idle standing bike

Suzuki mechanics looks like expert as they are in suzuki uniform but truth is they are worst

looking at the cases reported here by pakwheelers
