Thumbs up Installing CNG on Suzuki Swift with Lambda Control system LC 01

I would like to share my exp of installing CNG kit in Swift

I thank to the person who has mentioned about the LR authorized dealer in <st1:place title=" - st1place alt" alt=" border=" 0?>Islamabad, I went to there office and on inquiring they told me that LR is manufacturing a dedicated box for swift which includes all the essential parts for CNG

They took 1 week for delivery of box from Karachi to Islamabad, I took the box and cylinder from them that includes

LR CNG Kit
LR Emulator LR27
LR Advancer STAP 600
LR LAMBDA control system LC 01
Venturi – Specially designed for swift by LR
All the wiring, gauge, nuts, bolt, pipe each and everything
LR Pen and key chain (Complementary Gift)
Dealer told me that there is only one workshop in pindi – <st1:City w:st="[/IMG]<st1:place">Islamabad that is PAKISTAN CNG in I-9 which install lambda system and it is also recommended by LR itself.

[FONT=/>

I took the cylinder and box to him and they install everything in 4 hours and took 2k for stand which is specially designed for swift without doing any drill holes etc and 4.5K for installation.

The pick on petrol is reduced to 8% because of the weight of cylinder and air blockage by venturi, on CNG pick has reduced to 15% as compared to petrol, moreover I can easily accelerate the car in 2nd gear with rpm 5 along with AC. Overall I am very satisfied by the pick and drive on CNG

All the settings are done computerized by LR software and through LC 01, there is no problem of check light at all as all of the sensors are controlled by LC 01.

Mileage will be shared later as I have just installed a day before.

Finally got some pictures...

Latest Feedback: I have drove my swift 30,000KM on CNG, there is not a single problem i have faced regarding CNG, although the pick and drive on CNG have become very smooth. Normally i am getting 210KM+ on CNG without using AC and 180KM+ with AC in city which is quite impressive. I have installed NGK irridium plugs on 20,000KM which i think have improved its pick and mileage. I am using Shell synthetic oil 10W-50(Blue Dabba). It is a great car to drive and totally trouble free even if it is on CNG (Condtion: LR orginal).

Which NGK plugs have you installed, what is the model, and any issues due to the plugs ?

Spark Plugs NGK Iridium IFR6J11 x4 - SUZUKI SWIFT

One of my relative bought it from UK viz amazon and deliver them to me.
Spark Plugs NGK Iridium IFR6J11 x4 - SUZUKI SWIFT 1.5 05>on: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike

No issues at all, the main reason that i have installed these plugs are, it can last for almost 70,000KM, there is no need of plugs replacement. In swift, there is no tappet adjustment or any of other type of tunning required except oil change, oil/air filter change.

Hence to avoid the hassle to visit the workshops after every 5,000KM, it is the best option. and i also feel the increase in mileage and smooth in drive with irridium plugs.

Dear,

I have been looking for IFR6J11 in pakistan, but couldn't find them in Pakistan. They are the recommended plugs by Suzuki for swift. For how much you got them ? Do you have spare set ?

saw ur car a week ago in front of the landrover showroom in blue area didnt look like it had any cng installed quite impressive...but i like the use of petrol and installing CNG will ruin the use of the trunk as i have to fold the seats each time i go back to my village .......and the speaker board that u have installed is it removable or is it permanent ..???

No idea in Pakistan, you can search PW forums, might be ull find relevant information. I got them for 50 Pounds.

@Farhan
I have placed spacers above the shocks which lift the rear to its original position. There is no space after cylinder installed at trunk, speakers board is removable but never removed ever. As already mentioned earlier that my daily mileage is almost around 70-80KM. This is the main reason i have installed CNG. i dont need trunk much. It works perfect on CNG.

You will not get the recommneded iridium plugs by Suzuki NGK IFR6J11 in Pakistan. If you have someone abroad he can bring for you. In place of these plugs you can use Denso IK20 which are the recommended plugs by Denso for swift, work good but have lesser service life, but they are excellent and you will feel excellent pick and improvement in fuel economy.

From where can i get these? What do they cost? These are tried and tested by members as well?
One more thing, for the horn to be replaced we need to get the bumper to open?

I would suggest you to install the kit by lr with lambda rather than the simple one.

quite alot space left in the trunk,you could use it,i am glad to see it,otherwise usually there is non space left in the trunk after installing the CNG,the cylinder leaves almost no space,that is why i prefered bigger cars whcih have big trunks,such as civic and corolla's.
