    Default Automatic Swift

    HI Guys,

I was wondering how does the swift automatic is different from any Honda and Toyota automatic vehicles? What I meant to ask as if I were to drive Honda or Toyota automatic I put it in in "D" to drive and not bother of changing gears unless I am going to drive on up or downward slope. In Swift what I notice you have to change gear from 1 to 2 to D in with speed just like you would do with the Manual vehicle.

    Can someone please guide me?

Although I don't have experience of swift automatic, but if this is the case as you are saying than what is the purpose of auto. How the car behave if you put it straight to D instead of 1 or 2?

You don't need to put an auto car in L or 2 just put it in D and you're good to go. L is for the lowest gear and 2 means the car is restricted to 2nd gear.

Nice!! must be a fun car to drive. I sat in an auto swift once, but it was on CNG and the jerks made me hate the car, I didn't notice the shift pattern though.
