i am sorry bro as much as i want it to be 8.6, heck even 8.0 but i can't yet not until its officially achieved. My family owns and loves this honda vti (new one) a lot and i have driven them almost everyday but i get so pissed not to cross that 8.9 even on a humid day. Hey don't feel down about the time i mean 8ish for a car of this weight and power is very good.

i hope you get something more out of your civic soon, then i think u can make 8.6 official, if thats what official is.

no need for a video because the time u mentioned for the 250G is quiet sensible and for stock its very good. btw are those still bloody expensive ? my friend has one in black and he said he got it for around 30ish 1 year back

hey i have nothing against any of the vehicles i posted. I am not biased towards a bmw nor a honda, these are just facts of the vehicles time. Pressure and size seem adequate so i will take your word but i will post it to 8.8 because i reached 8.9 with 16 inchers and absolute no modifications on the engine bay.

8.6secs in a Civic 1.8L MT is achievable, the 0-100 run depends on various factors.
Here's how you do it: Achieve a perfect launch with a perfect shift into the 2nd gear at the right rpm on a grippy road with some high octane in the tank and im sure your civic would shave off a 0.5sec or more but since these are ideal conditions one barely meets them.

Bad_Cheetah's civic is very fast, I have experienced it myself. His cars engine is in very good shape so are the tyres and the clutch plate. We did make a video of the car doing 0-100 in 8.6secs but I prefer not to post it here as Bad_cheetah has already stated the reason.

Since you yourself have claimed that you did it in 8.9secs then I don't think 8.6secs shall be a problem to believe in unless he's claiming 7.6secs on stock conditions, yes I too would doubt in that case.

ok so you may stick to 8.9, since its karachi only, here in lahore we've managed better times since the atmosphere is more favourable!

and same goes for a 300G in 6.8 seconds, the car is much more powerful than that, trust me, i hope you could drive them both in more suitable conditions.

and i just checked the video which i have of markx, its 5.9 sec, sorry for telling you 5.5, and this 5.9 was with a passenger on board, dont know the exact tyre pressure, and details of things in the boot other than just the spare tyre. my bad!
