5 Series diesels aren't slow.
The 530d has a hellish amount of wheel-spin when you gun it without traction and its only a second slower than the petrol!

530i is indeed a much better car than mark x 3.0. go for it if u have the chance. BMW's are much better than Mercedes to drive (cant compare toyota to both). and the diesel is not slow at all.

You'd probably know better.
The car i drove was right after i drove a 530d so maybe that lacking in torque made it feel a bit tooo lousy.
And since you yourself are the owner of a petrol 5!
So mate how is your ride doing?

thankx for the offer bro. yeah i agree its 2000 cc with a pretty huge body, but i m a blind believer of bMW engineering. why wud they make a car which is underpowered. and then mark x is auto tranny, whereas i guess 520d is manual. wat abt 530d by the way ?
