04 Honda City without Tikli and Sale Invoice duplicate should i go for it?

Dear Professionals need your opinion in this below case,

2004 City without Tikli (Not found in both pillars and engine room) also Honda Sale Invoice is duplicate and it has 294k mileage no FIR, CPLC Clear Sellers saying its with own engine and transmission smooth water dropping AC blow has good power as per seller consumption is 13 - 15 kms per liter with 10 year Tax but hes stuck at 705LAC which is exactly my budget not a penny more its been a while searching used cars on OLX Pakwheels but all in vain because i don't have that asking prices.

Today is the day to make him a full payment we have already made a deposit due to its exterior/interior, engine condition we need it for family to use it for couple years if it won't make me hassle.

I would say walk away from the car
The tikli is located on the front radiator support where the bonnet latch is and the most probable cause of it not being there is that the car was involved in a frontal collision.
no matter how good the condition is he's asking an insane amount of money for a car with missing tikli and duplicate invoice.
I too had a 2004 City with missing tikli and was a headache to sale that car.

Token/Biyana/deposit is normally not returned.
Try telling him that you were unable to arrange the payment.

IMO, you should stay away from this car.

You may buy it, but some fine day, when you'll intend selling it, you may not find a potential buyer, or, a buyer may offer you very very less price, which may not be acceptable to you.

So, avoid buying this car.

Usually in such cases, Token money does not get refunded.

2ndly, when you were not sure, then why did you make any token payment?

Dont buy this car. Ask the guy polietly that you have changed your mind, if he refuses, consider it a fee for lesson of life. I would suggest to go for car bazars you would find good options there. Very rarely i have seen usable cars on olx. Good luck

you said you had the same one so you can share your experience how much was it sold in which year? also how was the condition of the car?

My father had bought the car from his friend in 2012 without even getting it checked and once the car arrived we got to know of its condition. It was involved in a frontal accident and hence the missing vin plate.

Salam, We are going to sell our car hopefully next month so wanted to get a fair price idea for it Honda City 2004 M/T 132396 km driven Vogue Silver colour the sides,hood and trunk have been repainted 2nd owner and all documents complete The Cons Denter took off with the VIN plate although the engine no. and chassis no. is intact The car had a frontal accident (not too severe though) and one corner of the chassis has some repairing 1st owner resided in DHA and perhaps washed the car…

My father sold the car to another friend of his for around 600k we had over 750k in the car.

Sounds bad, Well FINALLY we have refused yesterday to buy that car and later we found that the seller is government servant in Anti Corruption Police Dept but we requested to return the deposit so let's wait for next reply

Ending of this story, We asked the seller to refund back our deposit/token/biyana but I think hes not in mood will keep chasing him IN SHA ALLAH i will get it back soon.

Seriously, I repent to Allah Subhanwatallah never gonna get in this hassle again.

Twice i have paid token and backed off from deal. Once the other guy was kind enough to return. Second time i wasn't so fortunate. Such things are part of life
