@ splfanatic: Thanks man at higher frequencies CV hits louder but at lows SPL eats both of em Sir 3001 SPL is not meant for higher frequencies. I still have that 3001 with me n wud love to own another

@geforce: Thanx Sir i hate to differ, 3001 wont be able to take a bigger box without sacrificing true input power, but yeah spl does increase. If it was a 3004 i would have given it a bigger box . I have another box perhaps 2.5 to 3 cubes net (after port and sub displacement) the sub couldnt handle the power ur comments are always welcomed

i just came across this thread today....excellent stuff indeed...

some vids with new subs wud be cool..

have you deadened your doors?? what about sound damping of the boot? cause reborn boot rattles alot with a heavy bass system...is it not??

and what have you done to ensure that bass comes into the car??

askin this all cause soon going to setup system in corolla/civic

1.Yeap will upload the vid, but they wont be impressive, since the subs are not tuned for SPL.
2.Door are dampened using jumbolon and foam. Jumbolon for the back metal sheet and 1/4 foam for sealing. Boot not deadened yet (thinking about selling the car, if i dont sale it will dampen the boot, but koi zaida issue nahi hay rattles ka)
3. Please look at pic #9 from the top. i have drilled a 6.5 inch hole for the bass.
4. For SPL setup corolla is a better option not Civic.
