Saif-ul-Malook pictures that are coming from this year, this tourism has caused unparalleled damage to beauty of lake, Steel shelters, ugly looking hotels, Ruined green grass at lake, Look at conditions of Lalazar meadows in Kaghan as well, we are destroying natural beauty with our own hands,
i hope tourism and so called Parhi Likhi -Jahil awaam never reaches Bashkar Gol Lake, What about your plans of crossing the pass from Utror valley to reach Kumrat for this year? in pipeline?

Kaghan Valley is now second Murree and the commercialization will increase in near future as KKH is being diverted through new road connecting Mansehra to Chilas.

On the other hand, Bashkar Gol side is very rarely known and only few trekkers know about this area. The approach is tough no doubt and only committed trekkers can explore these beautiful areas. Mule ride is not possible as there are lots of rock climbing parts and few steep climbs.

Moreover, the trek goes further behind the lake. There are 3 more lakes and then finally it ends up in Kumrat Valley of Dir.

I was looking for your thread again and again after i found an updated profile picture on your social media page. i was sure its coming. glad to be part of this visual journey with you.

Hari Pur - Sirrikot road

There are 2 roads which go to Sirrikot from Hari Pur. One goes directly from centre of Hari Pur bazar and other turns left from KKH just before Hari Pur. We used second option.

Approaching the hilly area

These are small hills around Tarbela dam and Sirrikot is kind of highest point of this range. There are 2 routes here as well:

• The road bends right near the foot of hills and old route goes straight and is longer but at same time has better views of Tarbela dam
• newly built route turns left and is shorter

We wanted to reach the petrol station to fill the tanks so opted for shorter route.
