Very informative. Checked the headrest on my altis , they don't seem to move like demonstrated in the video. Is there any difference between active and whiplash headrest ? Can any body elaborate ?

I beleive what they mean by "Whiplash Injury Lessening (WIL) through Active Headrest" is that seats and headrest are designed in a way that lessen the neck injury in case of accidents demonstrated in the video above. If you notice the seats have more depth and as we raise the headrest it inclines forward. I think this is it :); there is no "Active Head Restraint" or other WIL device that are offered in other parts of world.

Unfortunately we dont have safety standards here and authorities are not doing much to make local vendors enhances security features. But then adding all these features and electronics will naturally increase the prices further.

More nd more auto Glis being seen.

I guess people only opted for the Altis and Civic cars for the Auto trany, i see the New Auto Gli as the next big thing on the roads. Airbags and all the other goodies were just a bonus people got, People only wanted Auto tranny. Now They are getting it.

brother my honda city is faster than this. why has toyota done to corolla it is such a good brand. in Europe they have introduced 2.4 l xrs and in Pakistan just 1.6 this is unfair.

Took test drive in My friends Altis.
It was Altis MT without SR

Performance:It has more or less same pick as 1.8 one.Engine is more refined,quiet,responsive and has less power lag in lower gears.6 speed MT kicks on highway.Brakes are also fine with fine road grip.If you are standing outside next to the car you cant tell that engine is started because of very low noise.

Economy:Its giving him 11.8 km/l in Sargodha City.Havent checked on highway.

Things i liked : The instrument cluster i just loved it with the white colour , Premium wooden panels , Leather seats are very soft and of good quality.

Price:It has nice edge over its competitors in price.

Verdict : I am sold over it.Thinking to sell my GLI and buy manual altis.Its now all in one package.

yups...altis is a fine car now in pakistan. though, horribly expensive as compared to its counterparts in other countries, but the sad fact is, we dont like in those "other countries" Inshallah i wud buy one too when i m back, or i wud stick with my lovely Platz

If one can afford; these new ZR engine powered Altis M/T or GLi A/T are much trims than 1.3L GLi. You will have same fuel economy but with much better engine!
