so i ordered the carlinkit android auto dongle today received it and surprise its not working on the oriel head unit android 4.2.2 i dont know what to do with it without navigation no android auto working since it requires android 4.4 should i complain about them to someone to at least update the software to android 4.4 so we can use android auto or what. i am sending a video of the issue to the aliexpress seller if he has any solution. here it is for reference if anyone of you have any solutions i want google maps on head unit.

I was looking to do the same, but couldn't even get to the software installation part. How did you install, please share steps.
As far an the kit not working, I think it should work as long as the app is installed. I heard there were issues with android versions but if the app installed, there is no reason why it wouldn't connect.

do you have the same turbo unit by tecno? i just downloaded the apk and installed it and it worked fine opened up after that i tried fast charge and normal usb cable both but it wont connect to the android unit the dongle.

can we shomehow report them or somehow force them to ask tecno to upgrade the android version to 4.4.4 or 5 atleast like this is unacceptable and when i contacted tecno they said g bas chalr aha hai chalne de kise ne kaha nahi honda mai upgrade karne ka to. there must be some way to force them

Could anyone mention differences between RS Turbo and Turbo Oriel (both facelift 2019 onwards)? And does it use the same transmission as RS Turbo? And does it have good resale value like Oriel 1.8?

Both are using same gearbox in civic X turbo oriel n RS.

Tweak the settings in the app. Use a good quality data cable. Try it on different USBs of HU.

Both have same transmission and engine other than few minor differences like rims and paddle shifters. I have never used paddle shifters on my Turbo 16 model, may be I am not that hard of a driver. Bought a used one from baba g at 64k and had driven it upto 76K now.

Hello People. I have turbo 16 model. I am daily commuter and travel around 106 km which includes motorway and travelling on canal road from thokar to mm alam road. Last time I got fuel from Attock Company operated pump on motorway and my average went upto 18.8 km/l as par car meter, now in recent fills of hi octane from Total pump areeb cng, my avg seems to be dropping to 18.3. How do you guys compare the fuel quality of hi octane from total areeb cng to that of regular ron from Company operated Attock. I usually maintain air pressure of 34-33 in new yokohama advn db tires.

Yesterday I got the tank filled again from areeb and today car felt a bit lagging as well.

I have the Oriel so its unit. It is a red meter one (2018) but I'm sure the tecno unit is the older Android version one.
Somehow I am unable to download the apk. Did you do it from the browser? What link did you use?
But considering that you got the app installed, and still it didn't work, now I'm skeptical.
I need a solution for google maps, ideal would have been a Carplay solution but if I don't find it, I will have to go for a reasonable Android aftermarket unit with support for latest GMaps. It would then also work with Carlinkit hopefully and I will get Carplay anyway.
