So i got the car at ~75k kms and now its around 78.5k. Issues i've observed so far in my ~2 months of ownership are:
When you quickly turn the steering wheel and the surface is slippery, for e.g. when parking in porch, U-Turns in rain etc, the steering vibrates and hesitates for a split second when you're about halfway through the full steering turn. Generally there's no issue in routine driving, including in sudden emergency maneuvers.
There's vibration in the brake pedal and the steering wheel upon high speed (motorway) braking.
Went to a 1S Honda I used to visit in 2012-2019 for City GM and got the attached estimate (no test drive) for 80k kms periodic maintenance and to handle the 2 issues. They will perform the green highlighted items on the car.
For steering, they will grease the steering box for Rs. 6500 and that will apparently take care of the issue.
For vibration, they said facing the front rotors followed by brake service, wheel alignment and balancing should take care of it.
While i understand most of the items they have marked make sense, one thing i would like to seek guidance on is whether i can skip replacing the fuel filter at this time and do it e.g. with the 100k service? Or is it something i should just change now?
I vaguely recall the same 1S or another offered to check the fuel pressure through a gauge and physically inspect the filter for its condition and skip replacement temporarily.
Other than that, loving the car.
