Alhamdolilah. I dont get fuel from every other pump. We have our own official pump and I know good pumps in ISB, Lahore where I usually travel

I haven't used hi-octane in over a year now. There was a time when regular was around 95 and hi octane was 115. But now regular is 74 and hi-octane is 140. So no thanks to hi-octane

Yes, you're absolutely right. I've fixed myself to 1 pump in Peshawar, after a horrible experience from Total when they filled some shit petrol into the Passo which started knocking immediately. For me, PSO has been the best bet for all my cars.

Hey. I’m new here. Not sure if this goes on this thread’s guidelines or not but:
I just recently sold one of my 2 civic rebirths and am planning to upgrade to civic X.
Budget: 2.9 - 3.1 million
Locality: isb

Concerns:
1) what’s the local and current actual buying price for a 2016 or 2017 oriel?

2) is considering hardtop (non oriel) okay in civic x or is it a major let down and will make a BIG issue in terms of resale?

3) how likely am I to find steering and and other bla bla issues? How to stay safe? What to be careful about

Lastly, (idk if this is upon the threads regulations and I’m sorry if this isnt) but if anyone has a clean car in isb lying in the budget, can contact me please?

You can get hardtop easily within your budget. If you extend budget by 1-2 lacs, you can get get Oriel.

Hardtop has it's own market and it also sells with some patience.

You can never know when a problem can occur in any component irrespective of make and model. Some persons have faced problems while rest haven't.

Try to get a well maintained car .

1) A first owner genuine mileage Honda maintained Oriel 2016-2017 should vary between 30-32, Abused cars with reversed mileage or paint touching will be cheaper

2) Try to avoid hardtop unless you get it atleast 3 lakh cheaper than a similar condition Oriel of same model otherwise if less than that its not at all worth saving 1-2 lakh

3) For some wierd reason the maximum issues of steering I have seen and heard are in 2017 and 2018 models. The initial 2016 model units have a much less ratio of steering issue. AC problem is purely luck regardless of year so check AC before you buy.

My car is making a strong click sound from the outside whenever I put the car from park to drive, neutral or reverse. From the inside you cant hear it but when outside its a strong side. What could be wrong?

Okay. Thank you. I get the point. A hardtop sells only if it’s 300k below the oriel’s market otherwise people tend to spend the 150k or 200k extra and get a fully loaded vehicle. Makes sense as Im also looking into this. Thankyou!!

All points well replied by @arkhitekt. As per my recent purchase better to buy clean 2016 model with servce history instead of 2017 rough used one.
You will get ISB no in 30 to 31 lacs max.

For steering assembly and AC issue better to bring it to any Honda dealership and get it checked. They will inspect whole car for u also in 2-3K.

2016 has very rare issues of steering and AC.

Also try to buy car which is not on BG Luxo tyres bcoz they are too hard. Any other good brand tyres will make your ride far more comfortable than BG Luxo tyres.

Yeah but if a car is overall good he can replace the tyres himself. Condition cannot be made better but tyres can be replaced
