Being a Honda Owner, I am happy that Honda is doing such recalls voluntarily. In a situation where automobile sectors are going in loss, indicates that Honda is still holding the back of its customers.
Apart from this, Honda is also offering free disinfection of the car AC system which is also a very encouraging offer.
I believe honda is a true corporate brand who looks after its customers well.
We must not forget that Honda was the first company which raised the issue of fuel impurities in Pakistan. Keep it up honda.

I think it means civic manufactured between january 2018 to december 2019. They might still confirm from their record if the car really has the faulty part. After that they will go for replacing it.

As per Honda officials, DENSO is the culprit which provided defective motors to Honda, Nissan and Toyota etc. So to be on the safer side, honda Pakistan is replacing all fuel pump motors from 2018 onwards deliveries. Thats a very proactive step by Honda.

Indus is doing as well this is a defected lot of pump motor which is manufacturing defect including the cars in Japan so all manufacturers will recall for the specific cars manufactured with that parts

Yokohama BluEarth is of two types:
1. ES32
2. AE50

ES32 is cheaper than AE50. I am using AE50 in my 8th gen civic. It is a good tyre. Soft and silent

I visited my 3s dealership today regarding the brakes. My ''guy'' at the workshop said that OEM Honda brakes will brake much better than whatever alternate you install. I have become double minded now because the price difference is of 20k. How can the quality be the same if there is such a massive price difference considering that the dollar is at an all time high right now. I'd love to save the 20k but I'm afraid that the performance will fade much quicker. Has the performance on your car changed over time in comparison to when it had OEM installed?

Sir oem brakes are oem brakes whether you buy them from dealership or you buy them from market. Its not like an Atlas dealership casts a spell on the pads and makes them better

The brake pads I bought are oem. Only difference is I did not buy them from a 3S which keeps its margin of sales tax, income tax, extra profits and overheads above the cost.

It’s not just brake pads in every case exactly the same parts are cheaper out of dealership. Atlas doesn’t make the pads itself they are imported and the same part is available elsewhere also. If its a HONDA OEM product it doesn’t matter where its bought from.

Rest its your choice of you want to buy the exact same thing for 20,000 additional just to help pay taxes and overheads etc of the 3S dealership

If you are from Lahore... Go to Bilal Autos Nilagumbad..... The 3S used to fetch parts from them when they are out of stock.

Waise there are multiple models of BluEarth and not just AE-50 and ES32.
BTW I'm using AE-50 in my Baleno too and it's a very good Tyre.

Today i went to Honda showroom to replace the fuel pump under the recent recall campaign, they had series of chases numbers in computer from where they checked and informed me that my car chases is not included in the numbers provided by the company, hence they told me that my car (facelift delivered in June 2019) has new version and not require replacement.
