Mint condition will cost you around 26-28 for 16,17 model hard top without leather and navigation.
Base model doesn't have push start, alloy wheels , sun roof and fog lights. Rest of the things are same engine etc.
Leather and navigation are optional for both hardtop and oriel.

Please note Steering Rack warranty has been extended to 3 years by Honda.Not many people aware of it hence dealerships keep quiet.You can claim if your car is not older than 3 yrs.Please insist for it.

Just for benefit of other Honda Civic owners.This is further to the problem I had with push starter. Nothing was wrong with either the push starter or the key fob.My battery had run out of juice.Car started with a jump cable.Because of heavy rains and moisture in Karachi wasn't being used much hence problem with battery. In anywise its now a two and half year old battery perhaps will need replacement in anywise.

with the current price of UG , i think its going to be pain in ass to resale the car after a year or two , with the ongoing price increase, with this current situation is it a smart choice to buy a brand new hardtop , since its cheaper and selling it will be easy because of the price difference .

Brand new hardtop is for 3.7M. U can get low mileage, good condition 2018-2019(Pre FL) oriel ug in 3.4-3.7M which will be much easier to sell as compared to a 2020 model hardtop. If it were me I would look for a 2018-19 oriel with this budget (Assuming 3.5-3.7 M)

If you are concern about resale then go for UG as UG is always better in resale due to the fact that after a year or two both resale would have a slight difference so buyer mostly prefer UG over hardtop.

Do the post facelift models also have the same manufacturing faults (steering rack, fuel pump etc.) or are they actually solved as per the company's claim. Can the buyers of the post facelift models please comment about these or any other issues they faced.
