Salams bros.
Today got stranded on Damin-e-koh. While going back with fam, started Civic X Oriel 2018 (18k odo). And it didn't start, before going to the trip got filled Euro 5 (no cocktail and only euro 5) from PSO Company operated pump near Askari 10 Rawapindi, just to give it a try. The fuel was returning some impressive figures on Isalmabd highway enroute to Margalla hills ie 18 km/l (medium footing and 80 - 100 speed). The car eventually started after waiting for an hour approx and multiple tries.

So, my question is that most likely faulty fuel pump? Have to go to honda anyways for routine maintenance and will get checked if my cars number is with them or not.
If its isn't, will they entertain my claim of fuel pump?
I haven't faced any issue before, so was thinking probably the euro 5 also has some hand in it.

Secondly, my cars AC is fine (although 2 temp doesn't cool the car and have to bring it down to like 22 for cooling to start, it's like this from the start and as @arkhitekt mentioned in reviews that some civics AC are ultra chilly and some aren't that cool, so I let it be). Should I request them to check and change the evap coil etc, as my warranty is ending in October. Will I be entertained?

Kind suggestions requested.

For faulty pump definitely check with the dealer as you have already faced a problem...for AC i doubt they will entertain as "cooling is not enough for me" is not suppose to be a claim....when you will complain, all they will do is check the gas level and leakage in the system....if these two things are fine they wont proceed for anything and will say that AC is completely fine...and i am sure both of them in your car are OK...

Yeah, I guess the AC point won't be entertained. Its working fine though. The warranty expiry was giving me second thoughts. But still, with its flaws Civic X is .

Today i went to Honda 3s Rahim yar Khan for fuel pump motor replacement. Back seat was removed and fuel pump/filter assembly was removed. Here the drama began. I noticed that the workshop boy was intentionaly delaying the job. The service advisor told me twice to be seated in the waiting area. Luckily when the workshop boy was taking the new fuel pump from the parts shop I told him to let me have a look at the part. To my surprise it was a used part. The small filter attached to the lower part of the pump smelled of petrol, it was dirty and was still damp. I took it to the service advisor office and asked him if it was a new part. He quickly rushed to the parts section. The parts sections guy starting saying sorry sir ghalti se chala gaya. The service advisor took a brand new part which was packed in a box and gave it to me. I stayed with the mechanic the rest of the time until the job was done.

The end!!!!!!!!!

The first step would be to take out battery terminal negative and positive both, then put them again, that would restart the android player. I used to park my car for 4 -5 days then start back again, and it would restart this thing but as I suggested.
Reset to factory settings, there is a code written somewhere in this thread so do this if the first step doesn't do.

I believe its for bulb heat vent, or else plastic may melt. not sure though.

I dont know what it is, but it's not a microphone. Microphone is built into the infotainment unit.
