Yes it can be washed with mild water. Let it dry completely

If you go to previous comments on this thread, you'll find a lot of issues with civic x 2017-2019.
Everyone has got its own experience with it but people were largely affected by fuel pump and steering rack issues.
If you don't want any doubt then don't buy it, otherwise buy a car from whom, who can confirm he has got it changed (faulty pump and steering rack).

Please understand Steering rack issue hasn't come up in all Civics from 2016-2020.It also doesn't come up at any fixed range of mileage or time period either.It has come up within first1500 kms and in certain cars after being driven 75000 kms.I got it very early and got it changed within warranty period which has now been extended to 3yrs from 2yrs for this item.However I don't think Honda has treated it as a manufacturing defect hence according to my understanding there hasn't been any modification of the this particular part.I guess one has to just live with it and pray it doesn't come in your car at least for the first 100000 kms.You will initially get a friction and tick tick noise when you turn the steering in either direction and later it tends to get momentarily stuck in a position when it becomes a little unsafe for driving and must be attended to.Hope my personal experience as described helps.

AoA does the Rs turbo have the same issues as with the prefacelift civic? knocking,steering rack issue and have trouble with our fuel? And if someone can tell their experience with the car it'll be very helpful
